EVOC Older People's Forum
Introduction
The voluntary sector in Edinburgh provides a wide variety of services for older people. The Older People's Services Forum brings together voluntary organisations that provide social care, health and other services. This Forum sends representatives to the Strategic Development Group for Older People's Services and the Strategic Development Group for People with Dementia, which deal with the strategy and planning of services throughout the city. Forum representatives can provide information on:-
- services for older people, people with dementia and carers provided by the voluntary sector
- involving older people in consultation and service planning
- occasional research papers
