Inspiring Edinburgh’s Volunteers – Building on Success –Edinburgh’s Volunteering Strategy for 2012-17
This strategy builds on progress to date, and looks forward to a renewed impetus across the range of Edinburgh agencies – public, private and third sector – to ensure that more people, from a more diverse range of backgrounds, are enabled to volunteer; and that when they do volunteer, the experience is rewarding both for the individual and for the volunteer involving organisation.
The strategy document includes an Action Plan which draws on key partners and the wider community of Volunteer Involving Organisations, to deliver on tasks which support the strategy.
