Edinburgh’s Third Volunteering and Active Citizenship strategy (VACS) is currently being developed and it is planned that it will be launch in late summer 2018.
We are currently in the consultation phase of the strategy development with a wide range of stakeholders across the voluntary, private and public sectors as well as people who are active citizens and those who are not.
VACS will replace the existing (second) strategy: Inspiring Edinburgh’s Volunteers – Building on Success – Edinburgh’s Volunteering Strategy for 2012-2017
