The Edinburgh Compact Partnership is a city wide partnership between the Public and Third Sectors which seeks to improve working relationships, influence public policy and encourage closer collaborative working between organisations and agencies. The Edinburgh Compact Partnership works to the Strategic Framework and Action Plan 2015-2020.
The Compact Partnership is one of Edinburgh Partnership’s family of partnerships which contributes to Edinburgh’s Community Plan.
Members
The board for the Edinburgh Compact Partnership consists of representatives from the following organisations and partnerships:
- City of Edinburgh Council (CEC)
- Police Scotland
- Scottish Fire and Rescue Service
- Health and Social Care Partnership
- Economic Development Unit (CEC)
Third Sector Interface for Edinburgh consisting of
- Volunteer Edinburgh
- Edinburgh Voluntary Organisation Council (EVOC)
- Edinburgh Social Enterprise Network
- Third Sector Strategy Group (TSSG)
Meetings are held quarterly and the secretariat is provided by EVOC.
